Job description
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor / Manager to work with the General Manager and support the smooth running of Maneki. The role involves maintaining high food, drink and service standards, supporting team development, and helping the restaurant operate efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations
- Promote Maneki’s culture and service standards
- Lead, motivate and support front-of-house team members
- Assist with staff training and development
- Help maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Support sales, service quality and profitability targets
- Lead shifts and ensure smooth opening, running and closing procedures
- Hold or support pre-shift team briefings
- Monitor service quality and customer experience
- Handle customer and staff issues professionally
- Support health, hygiene, safety and legal compliance
- Communicate clearly with staff across departments
Requirements
- Hospitality or restaurant management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer-focused and organised
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
- Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards preferred
- Legal permission to work in Ireland
